How do the isotopes hydrogen-1 and hydrogen-2 differ? Hydrogen-2 has one proton; hydrogen-1 has none. Hydrogen-2 has one neutron; hydrogen-1 has none. Hydrogen-2 has one more electron than hydrogen-1.
