Situation in the colonies was not good, especially after the French and Indian war. Colonists were unsatisfied with the way how they were treated. They asked for representation in Parliament, fair taxation system and more rights. As British government was introducing new taxes and making situation even worse, colonists started organizing in political and even military sense. When provoked by the British soldiers they started the revolution.
