The fall of The Western Roman Empire lasted from 395 AD until 476 AD, during this time many barbarian tribes like the "Goths" attacked, this made a big impact on the Roman military. Although they a few more minor things that contributed, Economic troubles, and overreliance on slave labor, Overexpansion and Military Spending, and Government corruption and political instability were also reasons the the empire fell apart. After The Western Roman Empire fell it left most of Europe free and open for expansion. Many people believe that if it had not been invaded Rome might still be in power today. It was a turning point in history as it was one of the largest empires in history with substantial territories throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
