Olympic games are held EVERY 4 YEARS

The ORGINAL purpose was for Greek men to show off their skills and enforce the relationships between different Greek cities. At that time, only mean were allowed to compete. Not women.

Some ORIGINAL sports in the Olympics were Wrestling, Running, and Boxing
