5m + 4 = 7m + 6 solve for m

Answer: m=-1

Explanation:

Whenever a question says "solve" it means that you have to find the constant (m in this case).

You do this by rearranging the equation so that in one side is the constant and the other side the numbers.

5m+4=7m+6 becomes: 5m-7m=6-4

Then: -2m=2

: m=-2/2

: m=-1
