Compare the East Asian regions and the African kingdoms responded to western influences

Please help me I’m stuck on this very last question and it’s been stressing me out for the past 2 days :(

Answer:

African Kingdoms were subjected to European interventionism at first, and then to total domination. At first, they were partners of European powers in the Atlantic and Indic Slave Trade, but later on, the entirety of African except for Ethiopia was conquered by European Powers.

East Asian regions were much more developed, and therefore, were more effective in resisting European conquest, especially Japan, which was never dominated by an European Power. However, by the XIX century, most of East Asia, including China, the largest East Asian country, had become colonies of the European Powers.
