The vertices of quadrilateral WXYZ are W (-10, 8), X(-2,-1), Y (0, 0), and Z (3, 7).

Translate the quadrilateral 5 units to the right and 8 units down to form quadrilateral W'X'Y'Z'.

Translating 5 units right and 8 units down means you add 5 to the x coordinate and subtract 8 from the y coordinate.

W(-10,8) \longrightarrow W'(-5, 0) \\ \\ X(-2, -1) \longrightarrow X'(3, -9) \\ \\ Y(0,0) \longrightarrow Y'(5,-8) \\ \\ Z(3,7) \longrightarrow Z'(8, -1)
