A river is at -150 ft below sea level. A nearby mountain has an elevation of +1350 feet. If Tina hikes from the river to the top of the mountain, how many feet has she hiked?

From the river to sea level would be -150 to 0 = 150 feet.

From sea level to the top of the mountain would be 0 to 1350 = 1350 feet.

Total feet = 150 + 1350 = 1,500 feet
