In a physical change the appearance or form of the matter changes but the kind of matter in the substance does not. However in a chemical change, the kind of matter changes and at least one new substance with new properties is formed. The distinction between physical and chemical change is not clear cut

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:Physical changes only affect the physical properties, such as color, texture, and shape, of a substance. When a substance is changed physically, its chemical properties remain the same. On the other hand, a chemical change alters the chemical properties of a substance.During a physical change the elements and compounds stay as they are. While Chemical changes make new substances.
