1 meter equals 100 cm
We know that
Now how many (100 cm)'s are in (300 cm)'s? There are 3 right?
So if every 100 cm is also a meter and there are 3 of these (100cm)s then they are just the same as 3 meters
cross multiply
divide both sides by 100cm
