I did my research on every single one of these options, and the only one that looks to have both of those factors (elevated cholesterol and heart disease) is the option with a low carb diet.

  • Although being gluten-free can increase chance of heart disease, I don't think it can elevate cholesterol.
  • Being vegetarian can only lower your cholesterol, not elevate it.
  • Being vegan leads to lower cholesterol levels as well, and actually lowers your chance of getting heart disease.

Therefore it is a Low Carb diet that can lead to heart disease and elevated cholesterol levels.
