here you want to isolate y

y = -5(x-3)-10

and then ditrubute the -5 into the parenthesis

y = -5+15-10

Combine like terms

y = -5x +5

and by looking at this in terms on y=mx+b

the line will intercept the y-axis at (5,0) like the line above shows
