Money to be spent per day <$100
To rent a car:
Minimum amount per day= $45
Amount per mile= $0.25
Hence amount spent depends on distance travelled.
If distance travelled= x; fee for travel= 0.25x
Hence finally we need the fare to be less than $100
And fare is $45+0.25x
So the final inequality is 0.25x+45<100.
Hope it helps.
