What is a 'fixed' cell in? I'm learning about the cell cycle of mitosis.

usually large, irregular, and branching phagocytic cell existing in certain tissues (as connective tissue), lymph nodes, or spleen but sometimes becoming amoeboid and moving through the tissues.
