Our perceptions not any objective reality govern our emotional response and resulting behaviour. Perceptions are based on beliefs, assumptions, values and conditioning. We can dramatically reduce our stress by changing our distorted perceptions. Our distorted thinking can exaggerate our perceived shortcomings.
