-0.2(3x – 25) = -0.1x + 7 (first distribute the -.2 to 3x and -25)

-0.6x + 5 = -0.1x + 7 (subtract 5 on both sides)

-0.6x = -0.1x + 2 (add -0.1x on both sides)

-0.5x = 2 (divide by -0.5 on both sides)

x = -4
