Suppose there are two blocks of solid iron. One block is a cube, three inches on a side. The other block is a cube three miles on a side. Obviously, the large cube is many, many times greater volume than the small cube, and many, many times heavier. Is the large cube more dense than the small cube, or less dense?

Answer:

The density is the same because both cubes are composed of the same element Iron(Fe).
