Domain is all Y values (the #'s that run up & down), & Range is all X values (the #'s that run left & right). All X values to the left, are negative #'s. And all Y values to the right, are positive. All Y values that go up, are Positive. And all Y values that go down the line, are negative. Write the domain & range in the same order.

To check if it's a function:

Inspect the graph to see if any vertical line drawn would intersect the curve more than once.

If there is any such line, the graph does not represent a function.

If no vertical line can intersect the curve more than once, the graph does represent a function.
