Density of sample of mercury = 14g/mL
Mass of sample of mercury = 28 g
We know that ,
Density = mass/volume
Hence ,
Volume = mass of sample/density of sample
Volume of sample of mercury , V = 28g/14g/mL
Volume = 2mL
