Answer: x=35
The supplementary angle with 40 and 40 degrees tells me the triangles angle is 100 degrees (40 + 40 + 100 = 180 degree)
2x + 30 = 100
-30 -30 subtract 30 from both sides
___________
2x = 70 Divide both sides by 2 to isolate x
X = 35
