How do you find the area of a circle with only the height

Answer:

in geometry, a circle is the curve that forms the boundary of a disc. Curves, like lines, have zero width and thus zero area.

For some reason, this very simple thing doesn’t seem to be taught much - I certainly recall my maths teachers referring to the area of a circle instead of the area of a disc!

As you haven’t mentioned the radius of the circle, let us consider a generic circle of radius r, thus we want to find the height of a triangle whose area is πr².
