Solution:

We know that,


Number of laps = \frac{\text{Total Distance}}{\text{Length of one lap}}


Number of laps = (6)/((1)/(4))


Number of laps =6* (4)/(1)


Number of laps =24

Therefore, the required number of laps is 24.
