Natural catastrophes, such as hurricanes, floods, fires or earthquakes, among others, are events generated by nature itself that negatively impact the ecosystem, causing damage to the environment and the species that inhabit it, including the humans. Thus, for example, fires seriously affect the ecosystems on which they develop, destroying the biodiversity of vegetation and fauna that inhabit there, which threatens large numbers of species and puts a limit on their development and reproduction.
