The Colombian exchange brought brought diseases. A big one is the Black Plague which ended feudalism because so many people died. Now with feudalism gone it gave people the opportunity to specialize in jobs. Also Africa was to powerful to take over so they traded guns and goods with Africa and the King of Africa gave them slaves.
