Answer:

The Mexicans were divided between the Alamo and the town of Béxar. On December 5th, the Texans fired upon the Alamo to cause a distraction and led a surprise attack on the settlement of Béxar. The Texans were successful and advanced into the settlement, capturing houses and destroying buildings from December 6th through December 8th. General Cós is losing ground in the settlement so he tries to concentrate his troops in the Alamo but four of his companies fled. On December 9th General Cos begins negotiations for a surrender. On December 10th he signs the surrender agreement.

Answer:

The Texans captured Bexar.

Step-by-step explanation:

In 1835, Anglo settlers laid siege to the city of San Antonio de Béxar in Texas. Some famous people in the siege and capture of San Antonio, included Stephen F. Austin, Jim Bowie, James Fannin, Edward Burleson, and Francis W. Johnson. The reason for the war happened because of the tensions in Texas. English settlers had come to Texas, where land was plentiful, but they refuse to operate under Mexican rule. Many of the settlers in Texas wanted independence.
