Explain/identify each phase of the cell cycle. (interphase + mitosis + cytokinesis).

Interphase is when cell grows, replacing it chromosomes while preparing for cell division.

Mitosis - copies its chromosomes and then segregates them, generating two identical nuclei.

Cytokinesis - the cytoplasm splits in half to make two new cells.
