n^3 = 7

to find n, we have to use the opposite function for both sides to isolate it. because n is being multiplied by itself 3 times, to undo that we have to take the cube root of each side

n = 3rt7

(n is equal to the cubed root of 7; shown by a square root sign with a small 3 in the gap)
