What is the difference between congruence and similarity? Compare these two examples as part of your answer. (Use the measurements shown in the diagrams to write a well-developed answer; I'm looking for a paragraph of 3-5 sentences.)

Step-by-step explanation: Congruent means equal and similar means close. If this was fractions 3/4 and 6/8 are equal (congruent). Something similar to 3/4 would be 1/4. 7/8 is similar to 6/8. They are similar because they have the same denominator. (Hope this helps) :)

Answer:

Similarity means when a shape is the same type of shape as another shape but a different size. Congruence means when two shapes are exactly alike. If there were 2 right triangles, one big, one small, then they are similar. If there were 2 squares, each the same thing, then they are congruent.
