A patient has given consent to have their stomach examined via a endoscope to look for ulcers in the stomach. If the doctor notices some polyps (pimples) in the patient's throat on the way down to the stomach, does the doctor have the right to remove those polyps?

The answer is B! They do not have the right to remove the polyps. The patient only gave them consent to work on their stomach not there throat. After the surgery the Doctor can talk to them about it and seeing if the polyps are cancerous.
