Explanation: One of the most important things that colonial settlers did was force Native American people off their land. Even if the Natives owned that land for hundreds of years, the colonials thought that the land should be theirs. Native Americans had to deal with many unfortunate events, such as the Trail of Tears. Europeans purposefully spread diseases and misery to the Natives.
