Right before the duel, what does Hamlet do to Laertes?

The duel starts. Hamlet strikes Laertes but declines to drink from the cup. He hits Laertes again and Gertrude rises to drink from his cup. Laertes poisoned by his own sword, says I’m justly killed with my own treachery
