What is the letters of the complimentary base pairs to convert this DNA strand in to an RNA strand: GCTGCA

Answer: CGACGU

Explanation: Remember the base pairing rules: cytosine with guanine and adenine with uracil (in the absence of thymine, which mRNA does not have). To compliment the given strand, you'd have to choose the base that would pair with each individual nucleotide.
