Well, to maintain a healthy balanced diet, you would need your diet to consist of carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals, fibre and water. However, for this question I would go with vegetables and protein as you need protein to help with growth and repair of the body and vegetables to ensure we receive all the vitamins and minerals we need.
