Do the mass of particles decrease when you heat a liquid?

Answer:

so if the liquid is heated most likely the particles are given more energy and move faster and faster, and ( liquids evaporate faster as they heat up and more particles have enough energy to break away.) and the heat energy is converted to kinetic energy. which means that the volume of a gas increases more than the volume of a solid or liquid.
