the correct answer is y - 2 = -1/3(x - 6)

you would use the equation y - y^1 = m(x - x^1) and plug in the point (6,2) for x^1 and y^1. then find the opposite reciprocal of the slope, which would be -1/3 (in perpendicular lines, the slope is always the opposite reciprocal of the other), and plug that in for m. after that, you have your answer! hope this helps, good luck!
