when people have access to internet, they can get news from it. some of the news that are posted on social media, is not talked about on the news on the tv, which is controlled by the government. people can also share different opinions with each other on the internet and share their thoughts on certain events happening in the country, which can later on affect the government, as people will be having a voice in certain things that are done by the government.
