Homeostasis plays a major role in the proper functioning of the body. It is regulated
by different mechanisms such as osmoregulation, thermoregulation, and chemical
regulation by different systems in the body like respiratory system, digestive
system, nervous system, and urinary system.
These systems maintain homeostasis in the human body by -
A releasing a stimulus when hormone levels increase or decrease
B decreasing the movement of blood to organs to maintain heart function
creating more proteins to code for cell repair
D increasing the rate of cell division to provide new cells
