La Fête National is celebrated like the Fourth of July except it is on Fourteenth of July. It is also known as Bastille Day. It is celebrated because they are rejoicing in the storming of the Bastille which was a prison. They raided the Bastille because they wanted to free the prisoners and get weapons because they were tired of their king which was King Louis XVI at the time.
