m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)\\ m=(4-2)/(10-4) \\m = (2)/(6) \\\\m=(1)/(3)

Therefore, the slope of the line is 1/3. In case if you want the equation too.


y=mx+b\\y=(1)/(3)x+b\\ 2=(1)/(3)(4)+b\\ 2=(4)/(3)+b\\ b=-(4)/(3)+2\\ b=-(4)/(3) +(6)/(3)\\ b=(2)/(3)

Therefore, the equation is y=1/3x+2/3
