The length of a rectangle is six inches more than its width. If the per meter of the
rectangle is 24 inches, find its dimensions.

Answer:

6 and 12

Explanation:

Length= 6+w

width =w

then..

2(6+w)=24

12+2w=24

collect the like terms

24-12=2w

w =6

width=6and length=12
