Sam held his hands up in surrender. "Look, Pilar. I didn't mean anything by it. I'm just trying to help you make a good grade," Sam said.

Sam always second guessed my work in our Pre-AP Biology labs. I'm sure he secretly wished that he could have been assigned a different partner. His criticism was just an attempt to bring me down.
