The daytime high temperature on the moon can reach 130°C. The nighttime low temperature can get as low as −110°C. What is the difference between the high and low temperatures?

however the easiest way of solving this is

add both the values , ignore the sign

130 + 110

the difference in the temperature is :

= 240 degrees
