Why did reconstruction end and what did that mean for Black people in the United States?

Step-by-step explanation:

Black people were not treated as the same as White people. In the south Jim crow laws were in place to strip black people their new rights away. Jim Crow laws would basicly not end until the sixties thanks to Martin Luther King JR.
