Scientists view Earth as a dynamic system. It’s a combination of interrelated, interdependent or interacting parts that form entity. The energy that drives these processes come mainly from the Sun and energy sources within the Earth. Water in the lake (hydrosphere) can become groundwater (lithosphere), or evaporating air (atmosphere). Humans (biosphere) harness energy from the water (hydrosphere) by having it spin turbines (lithosphere) to produce electricity. To conclude, the Earth is made of several subsystems that interact to form a complex. I’m not necessarily sure how you wanted someone to answer your question but I aspire that you learn from what I’ve stated.
