What is the remainder when the sum of the smallest prime number and the second smallest prime number is divided by the third smallest prime number

The remainder.

Solution:

Prime numbers are the numbers which are divided by only 1 or itself.

Smallest prime number = 2

Second smallest prime number = 3

Third smallest prime number = 5

The sum of the smallest prime number and the second smallest prime number is divided by the third smallest prime number.


(2+3)/(5)=(5)/(5)


(2+3)/(5)=1

Since 5 is completely divided by 5, therefore, t he remainder is 0.
