Isolation is without relation to other people or things; separately.

So when you quarantine, you are separating yourself from people.

hope it helps!

Answer:

it basically is. we all have to stay inside, away from people. isolation is very similar, but some people are quarantined with their family, so it's not technically isolation, because they're not alone, but still.
