Explanation:

This is an equilateral triangle. So in an equilateral triangle , all the sides are equal. Hence :-

`y + 3 = 2x - 5 = 8`

Value of x =

`2x - 5 = 8`

`= > 2x = 8 + 5 = 13`

`= > x = (13)/(2) = 6.5`

Value of y :-

`y + 3 = 8`

`= > y = 8 - 3 = 5`
