Plants take in nutrients and water through their roots and then transport these materials to the rest of the plant. Photosynthesis occurs in the leaves of plants and produces glucose. The glucose is then transported from the leaves to the rest of the plant. Which body system transports nutrients in a similar way throughout the human body?
