1) First, you can follow the acronyms PEMDAS or GEMS

PEMDAS is Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtractions

GEMS is Grouping (Parenthesis), Exponents, Multiplication and Division (which ever comes first from left to right), and Addition and Subtraction (which ever comes first from left to right)

2) In this expression, Multiplication would come first. Therefore, you would do 6 x 4 which is 24 and 2 x 3 which is 6.

3) Finally, you have to add 24 and 6 because in order of operations adding is one of the last ones, so once you add 24 and 6 you will get 30
