A glacier when it gets in the valley it breaks trees small rocks and when it gets into a big hole it starts melting .

A glacier is a big chunk of ice. Glaciation is thought to have occurred during the ice age. Glaciation means when a glacier causes deep depressions in land, it fills the hole up when it melts/ melted. An example of this happening is The Great Lakes (Lake Superior, Michigan, Huron, & Ontario).
